MC Lala

MC Lala is a young female rapper, born and raised in South London; her mother is Anglo-Indian, and her father is Nigerian. She started writing music at just 7 years old and began rapping at the age of 16.

She comes from a family of exceptional talent as many of her cousins also rap, and her father produced 21 Seconds for So Solid Crew. Her biggest inspirations are Michael Jackson, Ms Dynamite from So Solid Crew and Skepta.

MC Lala performed at One Dance Radio’s The Mic is Yours Dalston Edition on 28 Nov 2025 at Teez’s Bar & Kitchen, she said: “It was good; the crowd was giving energy!”

She also added that: “It allowed me to network with people I did not know and other artists; it also increased my confidence with performing.”

In addition to music, MC Lala is also an actress, a host, a DJ and a presenter running music and film events that have sold over 1,000 tickets.

MC Lala is releasing her first single, titled Twist and an EP next year; so, watch this space!
